A stampede is forming in the Caribbean with a number of islands rushing to legalize medical marijuana as predicted in a recent blog. Now Bermuda has announced that it will be joining the herd and its premier David Burt, has pledged that ‘cannabis cultivation for medical reasons will be legalised within months in Bermuda’. The British colony follows behind Jamaica, Puerto Rico, St. Vincent, US Virgin Islands, who have either taken legislative actions as in the case of of Jamaica or is in the process of doing so.
